God Created SEX!!! Oh Yes, He Did!!!

The devil did NOT create LOVE or SEX!!!  But God did!!!! 

God created SEX-or as I prefer to call it, “Making Love”- for a man and a woman to enjoy with each other after they are married!!!




And this is what we need to be teaching our kids!!!!  If we don’t teach our kids what is right, someone else will fill that gap!!!  And what they teach our kids won’t be what we should be teaching them!!!

Proverbs 22:6 (NCV) Train children to live the right way, and when they are old, they will not stray from it.

And yes, I believe that we need to be talking to our kids in church about these issues!!!!  We need to be teaching our kids this in church!!! 



YES, I SAID IN CHURCH!!! 




What better place to tell kids of God’s LOVE and what God has planned for us?  What better place to talk about LOVE and SEX and MARRIAGE and FAMILIES!!!! 

Over and over again, I see kids come to church without their parents.  I see parents dropping their kids off and picking them up, even though they don’t come themselves!!!  I see parents sending their kids to church with neighbors and family members!!!! 




We need to take the opportunities that God gives us, and we need to speak HIS WORD into these kids’ lives!!!  We need to teach them how much GOD LOVES THEM!!!  We need to teach them WHAT IS RIGHT!!!! 





So, I am going to say it again!!! 




IF WE DON’T TALK TO OUR KIDS AND TEACH THEM WHAT IS RIGHT-IF WE DON’T TEACH THEM ABOUT GOD AND WHAT HIS WORD SAYS, SOMEONE ELSE WILL TEACH THEM SOMETHING ELSE!!! 




What their friends and others tell them may not be true at all!!!!  And it won’t be anything like what God wants us to tell them!!! 




GOD WANTS US TO NOT ONLY TELL, BUT SHOW OUR KIDS AND ALL THE KIDS WE COME IN CONTACT WITH LOVE!!!!  THEY NEED TO KNOW THAT GOD LOVES THEM!!! 





HE wants them to know and experience HIS LOVE because once you really know the LOVE OF GOD, nothing else comes close!!! 




He wants them to know that HE DIED FOR THEM, TOO, BECAUSE HE LOVES THEM THAT MUCH!! 




God wants our children to know and understand they were part of HIS PLAN even from the very beginning!!! 



Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV) Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…

GOD has a plan for each of our children’s lives!!!  And His Plans are good!!!



Jeremiah 29:11 (CEB) I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope.

God wants our children to know that when life gets hard, THEY CAN TRUST AND DEPEND ON HIM!!!

God doesn’t want our kids to be worried and stressed out!!!  He wants them to have peace!!!

John 14:27 (CEV) I give you peace, the kind of peace that only I can give. It isn’t like the peace that this world can give. So don’t be worried or afraid.

⁶ Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks.

Let’s Talk About Marriage!!!

Genesis 1:27-28, 31 (KJV)

 ²⁷So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

 ²⁸And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

 ³¹And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Do you see where God looks upon everything that HE had made?  And HE says that EVERYTHING THAT HE HAD CREATED WAS VERY GOOD!!!! 



Well, that includes you and me!!!  God created us and HE considers us to be very good!!! 



But the enemy has comes in and has tried to pervert everything that GOD has created!!!   To pervert means to cause to turn away from what is right, proper, or good; To corrupt.  And that is exactly what the devil had done!!!!  He has tried to corrupt everything good that GOD created!!!! 




God knew that it would NOT be good for man to be alone and so God created Adam a “HELP MEET.”  Nowadays, we say, help mate, or mate or spouse.  One Thesaurus actually says, better half or married person.

Genesis 2:18, 21-23 (KJV)

 ¹⁸And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.


 ²¹And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

 ²²And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

 ²³And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

And now the devil has tried and is trying to corrupt marriage!!! 



And I know in our world today, some men are marrying men, and some women are marrying women, but in ALL LOVE, I tell you that this is NOT what GOD intended!!!  



God intended for a man and a woman to be married and have kids!!!  That is what HE WROTE IN THE BIBLE!!!  And it is NOT going to change!!!




God IS LOVE!!!  HE created us to LOVE OTHERS!!!  And because GOD LOVES US SO MUCH, HE wanted to share that LOVE with us!!!



1 John 4:8 (CEV) God is love, and anyone who doesn’t love others has never known him.

So, let me see if I can make this clear!!!  ALL YOU GAY BASHERS ARE GOING AGAINST GOD!!!  What you are doing is hurting someone who GOD LOVES!!!  And that is NOT what God wants!!! 



1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (CEV)

⁴ Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or

⁵ rude. Love isn’t selfish or quick tempered. It doesn’t keep a record of wrongs that others do.

God never said for us to go around hurting and killing people in the name of Jesus!!!   What God wants us to do is to LOVE everyone!!!  He wants us to show LOVE to everyone!!!

⁶ Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil.

⁷ Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.

How can we get folks who don’t know GOD to come in to our churches where we can teach them, if we don’t show them LOVE!!!   Why would ANYONE want to come in to the HOUSE OF GOD and sit with a bunch of folks who have NO COMPASSION AND NO LOVE???

Why would anyone want to know my God, if I act mean and hateful, uncaring and unkind???  If I can’t show LOVE FOR OTHERS, then I never get the chance to tell that person HOW MUCH GOD LOVES THEM!!!

And GOD DOES LOVES THEM!!!  You can’t tell me otherwise!!!  If you knew MY GOD, you would know that HE LOVES EVERYONE!!! 





HE LOVES hard-headed people, and idiots!!!  HE LOVES even those that are mean spirited and unkind!!!  HE LOVES the drunks and the strippers, the old and the innocent!!!  And HE LOVES YOU AND ME, no matter what we have done!!!





He loved me when I felt like nothing and even when I felt like damaged goods, not worthy of the LOVE OF THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD!!!




AND HE LOVES YOU, TOO!!!  No matter what your sexual preferences are, and no matter who you are!!!!




John 3:16 (CEV) God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son…

Would you give your child to be killed for someone else???  Even your closest friend?  If you answered, “Yes,” YOU ARE A LIAR!!!  But GOD STILL LOVES YOU!!!!






GOD LOVED EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US THAT MUCH!!!!




John 3:16 (NCV) "God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life."

Are You A Tinkling Cymbal??? Or A Sounding Brass???

Do you tell folks that you LOVE them, but never show it???   Your actions speak louder than your words!!! 




Do you say you LOVE GOD, and then mistreat HIS CHILDREN???




1 Corinthians 13:1 (KJV) Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

 

In the verse above, when they use the word, “charity,” they are referring to LOVE!!!




The New Century Version makes this passage so plain!!!  You can be the smartest person in the whole world, but if you do NOT love others, you are really just an old windbag making a lot of racket for no reason!!!!


1 Corinthians 13:1-7 (NCV)

 ¹ I may speak in different languages of people or even angels. But if I do not have love, I am only a noisy bell or a crashing cymbal.

You may have every gift that God allows, but if you don’t understand how to love folks, then you have nothing.  You can give away everything you own, even your own body, but if you don’t have love and compassion, then you have truly done nothing!!!  Without love there is no true understanding of God, because GOD IS LOVE!!! 



² I may have the gift of prophecy. I may understand all the secret things of God and have all knowledge, and I may have faith so great I can move mountains. But even with all these things, if I do not have love, then I am nothing.

³ I may give away everything I have, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing if I do not have love.

If you truly LOVE someone, then you will show it!!!  The following verses tell us how a person who has compassion and real love behaves!!! 


⁴ Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud.

⁵ Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others. Love does not count up wrongs that have been done.

⁶ Love takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices over the truth.

Do you know that TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES???   Even when this old world comes to an end, there will still be LOVE!!!!

Whosoever believes in HIM…

John 3:14-18 (NKJV)

¹⁴ And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

¹⁵ that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

¹⁷ For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

¹⁸ “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

In verse 14 it talks abut Jesus dying on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins!!!  Most of us know that the blood of bulls and goats was NOT enough to eternally redeem us from our sins.  That is why Jesus had to die on the cross!!!  To once and for ALL pay the price for our sins!!!

By doing so, Christ gave us the opportunity to accept HIS sacrifice and be redeemed-bought back through HIS BLOOD!!!  He paid the price and it never has to be paid again!!!  As the song says, “He bought us with HIS redeeming blood!!!”





The plan of salvation is simple and available to ALL those who choose to believe!!!  God sent His Son to save us ALL!!!  His Mission was simple-TO SAVE THE WORLD!!

John 3:16-17 (NKJV)


¹⁶  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

¹⁷  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.





These words, “that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” are so important that they appear in both verses 15 and 16. 

As it says here, we have a choice.  We can choose to believe in Jesus and His Sacrifice for our sins or we can choose NOT to believe in Him.

If we choose to believe in HIM, then we can have eternal life!!! 




But we can choose to NOT believe in HIM or accept HIS GIFT!!!  It makes this plain in verse 18!!!

¹⁸ “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”





Some folks want God to take the blame for their choices!!! 




But God clearly tells us that it is our choice!!!  Even before we make a decision, God plainly tells us the consequences.   


You know, I have heard some folks say that NOT believing in Jesus is an unforgivable sin!!! 





However, that is simply NOT true!!!   If it was an unforgiveable sin to NOT believe in Jesus, then we could NOT decide one day that we really need Jesus!!!  And that we really need to be saved!!! 





Sometimes, it takes hitting rock-bottom to wake us up!!!  So, when we finally get to the bottom, we realize that there is only one way out of our mess and that is Jesus!!! 





None of us would have the opportunity to finally realize that we truly do NEED GOD, if NOT BELIEVING was unforgivable!!! 

Nooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Nooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!




Verse 18 plainly tells us, “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”




You know, if you are condemned already then you can’t be more condemned!!!  It just isn’t possible!!!




If you have been condemned to death and then how could you possibly be condemned again!!!  You can’t!!!  Jesus died once for our sins that we could choose to believe in HIM!!!  He doesn’t keep on dying!!! 




But once we choose to accept HIS GIFT of Eternal Life, we are no longer condemned!!!  And we should NOT perish!!!  That means we should NOT die without Christ!!!

God Loved Me and You, Didn’t He???

God loved ALL OF US so much that HE gave us HIS ONE AND ONLY SON as the eternal sacrifice for our sins!!!

I wonder how many people truly understand that God knew exactly how bad this old world was going to get and still HE gave us HIS PRECIOUS SON!!!




And don’t you know that Jesus also knew that HIS GIFT to man was NOT going to be appreciated, but instead it would be reviled!!!

John 3:19-21 (NKJV)


¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

²⁰ For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

²¹ But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

But even knowing how awful we were and the lives that we would choose to live, God still chose to send HIS ONLY SON to earth to save you and me because that is how much HE LOVES US!!!

John 10:10 (AMP) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

God loves even the person that we think is the worst sinner or the vilest person!!!  HE loves that person so much, that He would have sent HIS SON to die for their sins, even if he or she was the last person on the face of the earth!!! 



1 John 4:8 (CEB) The person who doesn’t love does not know God, because God is love.

And yet some folks still think that they are better than others, because they haven’t done ALL that another person has done!!!  I haven’t committed the sins that he or she has committed, they think!!!  And sometimes people even go so far as to despise another person because of their sins!!! 




Isaiah 64:6 (NCV) All of us are dirty with sin.
       All the right things we have done are like filthy pieces of cloth.
    All of us are like dead leaves,
       and our sins, like the wind, have carried us away.

God looks at ALL of us with love in HIS EYES!!!  To HIM, we are ALL the same!!!  HE LOVES US ALL!!!  Even those who choose NOT to accept HIS Gift and choose NOT TO REPENT!!!




Romans 3:3-4 (NKJV)

³ For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?

⁴ Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written:

“That You may be justified in Your words,
And may overcome when You are judged.”

We are ONLY accepted by God and made right through the BLOOD of Christ!!!  There is nothing more that we can do to become right in God’s sight!!!



Romans 3:22 (NCV) God makes people right with himself through their faith in Jesus Christ. This is true for all who believe in Christ, because all people are the same.

²⁴ But God treats us much better than we deserve, and because of Christ Jesus, he freely accepts us and sets us free from our sins.

^25-26 God sent Christ to be our sacrifice. Christ offered his life’s blood, so that by faith in him we could come to God. And God did this to show that in the past he was right to be patient and forgive sinners. This also shows that God is right when he accepts people who have faith in Jesus.

 

Love Your Enemies

God tells us to love our enemies!!!

Some folks believe in an eye for an eye!!!  Tit for tat!!!  They even say REVENGE is best served cold!!!

What does all that mean???  It means that if you hurt them, they are going to hurt you back!!! 

But that’s NOT what Jesus taught His disciples!!! 

Matthew 5:38-42 (NKJV)


³⁸ “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’

³⁹ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.

⁴⁰ If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also.

⁴¹ And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.

⁴² Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.

Jesus taught us to love our enemies!!!  HIS disciples recorded HIS teachings in the Gospels!!!



Matthew 5:43-48 (NKJV)

⁴³ “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

⁴⁴ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

⁴⁵ that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

⁴⁶ For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

⁴⁷ And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?

⁴⁸ Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

It is so easy to love those that are kind and who treat you right!!! 



But what about those that make sure you know that they despise you!!!  And what about those that mistreat you horribly???  They are the ones that are so hard to love!!!  And then Jesus tells us to pray for them!!!  Is HE for real???     



Luke 6:27-28 (CEV)

²⁷ This is what I say to all who will listen to me:

Love your enemies, and be good to everyone who hates you.

²⁸ Ask God to bless anyone who curses you, and pray for everyone who is cruel to you.




Do you know that the person who mistreats you needs more prayer than probably anyone else?  I wonder who is really praying for that person??  Do you think that anyone is asking God to help that person?  Is anyone praying for that mean boss???  Or that hateful person at work??




Jesus would!!!  Jesus prayed for those that had Him crucified!!!



Luke 23:32-34 (NKJV)

³² There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death.

³³ And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.

³⁴ Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

And they divided His garments and cast lots.

Stephen followed Jesus example.  When the leaders became angry with Stephen and had him stoned, he asked God to forgive them!!!

Acts 7:59-60 (NKJV)

⁵⁹ And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

⁶⁰ Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Do you know that HE AROSE ON THE 3RD DAY???   Do you know that the grave couldn’t hold HIM in the ground???

² Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.”

³ Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb.

⁴ So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first.

⁵ And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in.

⁶ Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there,

⁷ and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.

⁸ Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed.

⁹ For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.

She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”

She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’”

¹⁸ Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.

¹⁹ Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
