I just can’t imagine living without God!!!


I have tried, you know. 

 

And there is no way I ever want to do it again. 


I just can’t do it by myself!!!


I just can’t live without God!!!


And I don’t want to try!!! 


I never want to be without GOD!!!


Been there!!!  Done that!!!


I don’t ever want to go back to trying to make it on my own!!!


Even though this song says, And where would I be Without You...


I know where I would be without GOD!!!


I would be dead by now!!! 


I was headed down the wrong road.


I was on the wrong path in life and I wouldn’t have made it without GOD!!!


I wouldn’t be alive without GOD and I know that!!!


I definitely wouldn’t be so blessed!!!  Nor would I have the wonderful life that I have now!!! 


I was particularly struck by one part of this song. 


And where would I be
Without You...

I'd be packin' my bags when I need to stay


When I hear this part of the song being sung, I hear words that once described me.


Have you ever heard of Fight or Flight Response???


Wikipedia says, The fight-or-flight response (also called the fight, flight, freeze, or fawn response) is a physiological reaction that occurs in response to a perceived harmful event, attack, or threat to survival.


Now, given the choice to fight or run, I choose to run.  I have always chosen to run, flee, or escape.


So, when the song says, I'd be packin' my bags when I need to stay, I know that this is exactly what I would be doing if I didn’t have GOD with me!!!


God has taught me to run to HIM, when trouble comes!!!  HE has taught me to stand strong and see HIS SALVATION!!! 


Psalm 18:2 (NCV)

² The Lord is my rock, my protection, my Savior.
    My God is my rock.
    I can run to him for safety.
    He is my shield and my saving strength, my defender.


You see, just as this song says, GOD rescued me!!!  HE RESCUED ME A LONG TIME AGO!!!! 


HE IS MINE and I AM HIS!!!  I am HIS CHILD!!!

 

And so, every day, I choose to FALL INTO HIS ARMS!!!  I choose to run to HIM!!!!  I choose to be with MY FATHER, who loves me!!!


And every day-every new day-I choose all over again to fall into HIS arms, to sit at HIS feet, to sit in HIS lap and let HIM love me!!! 


This song says it ALL!!! 


I hope you will listen and choose to LET GOD LOVE YOU!!!  HE LOVES YOU!!!!  And HE NEVER intended for you to have to live without HIM!!!
