IF YOU TRULY LOVE YOUR KIDS, YOU WILL TEACH THEM WHAT IS RIGHT!!!

Everybody is doing it!!!!   Everybody has it!!!

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  No!!!!  They aren’t!!!!   And NO!!!!  NO!!!!! They don’t!!!!!




THOSE ARE LIES FROM THE PITS OF HELL!!!!




And further more!!!!  





SO WHAT!!!!!  YES, I SAID, SO WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!





My parents always had a good answer when we said, but everyone is doing it!!!   And some of you parents need to learn this!!!!  





My folks would always say, IF EVERYONE STICKS THEIR HEAD IN THE TOILET, ARE YOU GOING TO????????





So, I say to you today!!!!   IF EVERYONE JUMPS OFF A BRIDGE ARE YOU GOING TO???

Come on folks, let’s get real!!!!  AND LET’S GET RIGHT WITH GOD AND TEACH OUR KIDS THE RIGHT THINGS!!!!

The Lord says that we should raise up our children in the way that they should go and it will stay with them!!!!  That means they will NOT be able to forget what they were taught!!!!

Proverbs 22:6 (KJV) Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.




Some folks (or kids) say, Everybody has it!!!  Or everyone has one!!!  But Tommy’s momma bought him one!!!  Or Lizzie’s dad bought her one!!!  Why can’t I have one???




My folks had a good answer for that one, too!!!! 



Lizzie isn’t my daughter!!!!  Tommy isn’t my son!!!! 




And today I say to you, IF TOMMY’S MOMMA BUYS HIM A GUN, ARE YOU GOING TO BUY YOUR KID A GUN????  IF LIZZIE’S DAD BUYS HER A RATTLESNAKE ARE YOU GOING TO BUY YOUR KID ONE???

You know, we seem to think that it would be good for our kids to be popular and we want them to have everything they need and yes, what they want!!!!  But come on folks!!!!  Let’s get real!!!       

IF YOU GIVE YOUR KIDS EVERY THING THEY WANT, THEY WON’T LOVE YOU FOR IT!!!!  THEY WON’T RESPECT YOU!!!  THEY WILL PROBABLY DESPISE YOU FOR GIVING IN TO THEM!!!!   

Why are we trying to keep up with everyone else???  Why are we going in debt to buy our kids shoes or games???

If our kids are asking for something that is good and something that will not hurt them, then why NOT teach them to work for it!!!  Or better yet, teach them to ask God for it and accept God’s answer!!!!




Here is what WE NEED TO BE TEACHING OUR KIDS!!!

First, we need to teach our kids that GOD LOVES THEM AND GOD WANTS WHAT IS BEST FOR THEM!!!  And WE SHOULD TEACH THEM TO WANT GOD’S PERFECT WILL FOR THEIR LIVES!!!!

Secondly, WE SHOULD TEACH OUR CHILDREN TO TRUST IN THE LORD AND RUN UNTO HIM!!!!

⁵ With all your heart you must trust the Lord and not your own judgment.

⁶ Always let him lead you, and he will clear the road for you to follow.

⁷ Don’t ever think that you are wise enough, but respect the Lord and stay away from evil.

We need to teach our kids that GOD WILL PROVIDE FOR THEM!!!  HE WILL PROVIDE FOR THEIR NEEDS AS WELL AS THEIR WANTS!!!! 



Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.



Psalm 37:4 (NKJV) Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

 

When we teach our children THE WORD OF GOD AND WE TEACH OUR KIDS TO TRUST IN THE LORD AND DEPEND ON HIM, we are teaching them SOMETHING that will help them more in life than anything else!!!  



GOD WILL BE THERE WHEN YOU CAN’T!!!  GOD AND HIS WORD WILL BE THERE EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON!!!
