Forgiving others isn’t always easy!!! But choosing to forgive others for the pain and the sorrows that they have caused us is the most important choice that we can make in our life!!!
If we want our Heavenly Father to forgive us them we must forgive others!!!
Luke 6:36-37 (CEB)
36 Be compassionate just as your Father is compassionate.
37 “Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
The choices that we make change our lives and they make us who we are. They shape our future!!! We are supposed to LOVE others!!! And part of loving others is forgiving them.

27 “But I say to you who are willing to hear: Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you.
28 Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who mistreat you.

Jesus showed us this when He died on the cross so that we might live.

32 There were also two criminals led out with Jesus to be put to death.
33 When they came to a place called the Skull, the soldiers crucified Jesus and the criminals—one on his right and the other on his left.
34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, because they don't know what they are doing."
I know that sometimes folks have used and abused us!!! And sometimes it is really hard to forgive those who have treated us so poorly!!! But we should be merciful to others and treat them with kindness!!!! One day, we will need someone to be merciful and kind to us!!!
Matthew 7:1-2 (CEV)
1 Don’t condemn others, and God won’t condemn you.
2 God will be as hard on you as you are on others! He will treat you exactly as you treat them.

It is okay for us to be wary of others and NOT allow them to mistreat us. But we can still love them, and forgive them!!!! We can love them and pray for them and allow God to work in their lives.
Matthew 5:43-45 (NKJV)
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
