When we accepted Christ as our Savior, we were filled with HIS LIGHT!!! And His Light should shine through us and our lives, because we are HIS CHILDREN!!!
John 8:12 (CEB) Jesus spoke to the people again, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me won’t walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
We are NOT supposed to hide OUR LIGHT!!! Folks should be able to tell that we are God’s Children when they see how we treat others and how we act!!!
Matthew 5:16 (KJV)
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
In truth, the light of God’s love can never be hidden!!! In the natural, if you placed a candle under a basket, the candle would burn a hole through the basket!!!
And indeed the Love of God in our hearts and lives should shine through ALL else!!!
Mark 4:21-22 (CEB)
21 Jesus said to them, “Does anyone bring in a lamp in order to put it under a basket or a bed? Shouldn’t it be placed on a lampstand?
22 Everything hidden will be revealed, and everything secret will come out into the open.
