KEEP YOUR MIND STAYED ON JESUS!!!

Have you ever heard this saying?  You are what you eat.

 

Well, it is so true!!!  And even more especially for our spirits.  If you put the WORD of God in your mind and heart, then the WORD will come out of your mouth!!! 

Almost anyone can tell you that whatever is in your heart and on your mind is what comes out of your mouth!!

Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…

 

IF YOU CONTINUALLY DWELL ON THE WORD OF GOD, THEN THE WORD OF GOD WILL BE IN AND ON YOUR MIND!!!

 

We need to know what God says about every situation; therefore, read, study, and meditate on the WORD!!!  We need to know the WORD OF GOD for ourselves, not just what the preacher says it says!!! 

Psalm 1:2 (AMP) But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.

Joshua 1:8 (AMP) This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

That is why God tells us to study to show ourselves approved!!!  It is so we will know THE WORD for ourselves!!!

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

We should always say what God says!!!  Every WORD that comes out of our mouths should line up with THE WORD OF GOD!!! 

Matthew 12:34-37 (KJV)

 

³⁴O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

³⁵A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

³⁶But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

³⁷For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. 

When the devil tempted Jesus, HE rebuked him with THE WORD!!!  

Matthew 4:4 (AMP)  But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.



Isaiah 26:3 (KJV) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
