Wake Up and Smell the Roses!!!

With so many problems facing our country, it is high time as Americans that we “Wake Up and Smell the Roses!!!” 

We have been having problems for some time now in our nation!!!  Just look around and you will see ALL the problems that we are having! 

AMERICA USED TO BE A NATION THAT SERVED GOD AND WAS PROUD OF IT!!! 

Now, most Americans would rather serve anything else, even the devil!!!  Anything else, except The Lord God Almighty!!!

And look where it has gotten us!!! 

We used to be a proud nation; the land of the free and the home of the brave, as our National Anthem has always proclaimed!!!   

Then, we allowed them to take God out of our schools, out of our work places, and yes, even out of our mouths!!!

The Word says, If you are ashamed of God; HE will be ashamed of you!!! 

 

Luke 9:26 (NKJV) For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.

 

And I just wonder if that hasn’t happened to us!!!  Don’t get me wrong.  I know that there are still many folks in America, who love and honor, serve and worship God!!!

It’s praying time folks!!!  It is time out for a lot of talk!!!  We have got to take action and we have got to take it NOW!!! 

Our nation is under attack and we have to start doing something about it!!!  America is under attack from a very real enemy and we better sit up and take notice!!!  We are ALL going to have to pull together and stand up against the enemy and fight!!! 

EVERYONE KNOWS THAT IF YOU DON’T OR WON’T FIGHT, THEN YOU AUTOMATICALLY LOSE!!!

The reality is that the devil has been trying to destroy our God-fearing nation for years.  He has been trying to destroy not only our love for God, but our values, our morals, and our integrity. 

A long time ago, if a man gave you his word, it was his bond.  You could count on him to do exactly what he said he would do!!!  But nowadays, you better get a contract because even then you may have to go to court to get what has been promised and agreed upon!    

And if ALL this isn’t bad enough, look at our young people.  What are we teaching them today?  They have nothing to believe in and they have no moral character or moral fiber. 

Yes, there are some truly wonderful young folks out there, but sometimes it seems that there are far more bad ones. 

Here are some of the things that the devil is using to plague our society today:  suicide, homicide, depression, oppression, self-mutilation and abuse.   

You know, years ago, these things were NOT the problem that they are today!!!  

As a matter of fact, many years ago, when I was growing up, you rarely even heard of such things. 

Children didn’t kill themselves and they certainly didn’t kill each other!!! 

We never had to worry about a classmate bringing a gun to school. 

Don’t get me wrong!!!  I grew up in a small rural community where farming was how a lot of folks made a living!!!  And almost everyone had some kind of a gun. 

Most of the guys I grew up with drove pick-up trucks that had gun racks and I know that they had rifles or shotguns in those gun racks.  But they didn’t bring them inside the school or try to kill us with them. 

And you know what???  We knew God.  And those that didn’t know GOD personally, at least respected HIM, and they respected those who knew HIM!!! 

Now, the spirit of suicide and homicide are running rampid through our communities, especially with our youth!!!  And in many cases, we find that this is caused by depression and oppression or abuse of some sort.           

We hear of young people mutilating themselves because it gives them the feeling of control that they so desperately need in their lives.  We hear of young people oppressing and/or abusing others to make themselves feel superior or because they feel that they are better than the person that they are abusing!!! 

AGAIN, I ASK YOU, WHAT ARE WE TEACHING OUR YOUNG PEOPLE?

Why are our children so stressed out?  Why are they so depressed?  Why are they killing each other and why are they killing themselves???

We have got to do something about this!!!

We need to let our children know that SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!!  NOTHING SHOULD BE THAT BAD!!! 

WE NEED TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN THAT SUICICE IS NOT AN OPTION!!! 

KILLING THEMSELVES IS NOT THE WAY OUT!!!  IT IS NOT THE SOLUTION TO THEIR PROBLEMS!!!  IT IS NOT THE ANSWER TO THEIR CRISIS!!! 

And neither is abusing or killing someone else!!! 

None of these actions is going to solve their problems!!!  And these things should NOT be accepted as options!!!

As “THE ADULTS” in our society, we need to realize that these young folks are our future!!!  Without them we don’t have a future!!!  We need to start taking their problems seriously!!!

When they have concerns or issues, we need to listen to them and then we need to pray with them and ask GOD to help them! 

We need to understand that what is going on in their lives is very important!!  It is NOT trivial just because they are young!!!  They have real problems and real issues!!!

I am tired of hearing about suicides and murders!!!  I am tired of burying young people!!!  And when you ask why this happened, no one ever seems to know!!!      

It seems very simple to me!!!  We need to teach our young people that they have options!  We need to teach them about God! 

You know, if our young people really knew god for themselves, they would know that they could turn to him for help!!!

THEY WOULD KNOW THAT GOD IS ALWAYS THERE FOR THEM!!!

IT’S NOT TOO LATE!!!  IT’S NEVER TOO LATE FOR THEM TO LEARN OF GOD’S LOVE!!!

IT IS ONLY TOO LATE WHEN THEY ARE IN THAT COLD, HARD GROUND!!!

     

WE NEED GOD IN AMERICA, AGAIN!!!
