JESUS IS COMING BACK!!!

  
I heard Jimmy Swaggart say the other day that we should be glad that CHRIST is coming back!!!!  And I agree!!! 

WE SHOULD REJOICE!!!  OUR LORD and OUR SAVIOR IS COMING BACK FOR US!!! 

But as GOD’s KIDS, do we truly understand what that means? 

I wonder sometimes what we really know about CHRIST’S TRIUMPHANT RETURN TO THE EARTH!!!  

I shall rejoice at HIS COMING!!!  I believe that we ALL should rejoice at HIS COMING!!!! 


If you are saved, then you don’t need to fear HIS COMING!!!  HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS has made us worthy to carry HIS NAME!!!


2 Cor. 5:21 (NKJV) For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.


Do you know that angels told the disciples that Jesus would come back in the clouds? 

Acts 1:9-11 (KJV)

⁹ And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

¹⁰ And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

¹¹ Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.


You know, HE IS COMING BACK FOR US, SAINTS!!!

Matthew 24:31 (KJV) And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

No, I am NOT quite ready for HIM to come, but that is ONLY because I like being alive today on this earth!!!

I love preaching HIS WORD!!!  I love telling others about HOW WONDERFUL MY SAVIOR IS!!!  I LOVE TELLING THEM HOW GOOD GOD IS!!!

I LOVE TELLING PEOPLE HOW MUCH GOD LOVES THEM!!!

I will be so glad to see HIM when HE COMES!!!  I love HIM so much!!!  And there are days that I wish I could see my Jesus sooner!!!

So, I absolutely do NOT understand why folks want to preach ALL this doom and gloom!!!

I do NOT understand why folks want to scare the children of GOD into thinking that they have to go through the Tribulation Period!!!

What I do understand is that our enemy wants every child of GOD to be very afraid!!!  Our enemy doesn’t want us to rejoice in the coming of THE LORD or to look forward to HIS COMING!!!

Here is another scripture that GOD showed me when some folks kept preaching about how horrible everything was going to get!!!

Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.


I truly believe that if we have accepted Christ as our savior then we will truly “be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”


I truly do NOT believe that we as HIS Children will have to go through the Tribulation!!!  As I was writing this statement, GOD gave me this scripture!!!

1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ


Here is what the LORD showed me in the 5^th chapter of 1 Thessalonians.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 (KJV)

¹ But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

² For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

³ For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

⁴ But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

⁵ Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

⁶ Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

⁷ For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

⁸ But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

⁹ For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁰ Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

¹¹ Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.


Do you see in verse 4 where GOD tells us that because we are HIS children, WE ARE NOT IN DARKNESS!!!!  HE IS TELLING US THAT WE HAVE NO NEED TO WORRY!!!  That day will NOT CATCH US UNAWARE!!!  It will NOT OVERTAKE us like a thief!!!   


GOD makes it plain in verse 5 that we are HIS children!!!  WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT!!!  WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE DAY!!!  We have HIM!!!  We are saved!!!!  There is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO WORRY!!!


1 Thessalonians 5:4-5 (KJV)

⁴ But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”

⁵ Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.


GOD saved us by sending HIS SON to die for us!!!!  And because CHRIST died for us on that day, so long ago, nailed to a wooden cross, we will ALL live together with HIM!!!! 


Whether you are on this earth now or whether you are one of those who has already gone on before us, WE WILL ALL LIVE TOGETHER WITH GOD!!!

So, PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE!  Please STUDY YOUR BIBLE!!! 

DON’T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!! 


Get your Bible out and SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!
