And Jesus Healed Them ALL!!!

  
Do you know that Jesus healed everyone who came to HIM with sickness and disease???  

Matthew 12:15 (NKJV) …He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.


Matthew 4:23 (KJV) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Luke 9:10-11 (CEV)

¹⁰The apostles came back and told Jesus everything they had done. He then took them with him to the village of Bethsaida, where they could be alone.

¹¹But a lot of people found out about this and followed him. Jesus welcomed them. He spoke to them about God's kingdom and healed everyone who was sick.

 

IT IS GOD’S WILL FOR ALL of HIS CHILDREN TO BE HEALED!!!


GOD WANTS TO HEAL EVERYONE, NOT just those that are saved!!!

Matthew 8:16-17 (KJV)

 ¹⁶When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

 ¹⁷That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Matthew 8:16-17 (NKJV)

¹⁶ When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

¹⁷ that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

“He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”

Some folks come to church so that the preacher can pray for them.  The church is supposed to be for those that are in need.  We are supposed to minister to those that are sick in mind and body!!!  We are supposed to lay hands on the sick and see them healed!!! 


James 5:14-15 (KJV)

 ¹⁴Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 

 ¹⁵And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

When Jesus sent the disciples out into the world to preach the gospel, HE said that they would lay hands on the sick and the sick would recover!!!

Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)

¹⁷  And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

¹⁸ they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”


Have you ever noticed that Jesus didn’t ask folks if they were saved before HE healed for them?  


And I haven’t seen in the Bible where the disciples asked any of the sick folks whether they were saved or NOT!!! 

But we do that in our churches!!! 

Acts 3:1-8 (NKJV)

¹ Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

² And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

³ who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.

⁴ And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”

⁵ So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

⁶ Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

⁷ And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

⁸ So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.

So, why do people get sick???

 

I have heard a lot of things said over the years!!!  I have heard it said that sin causes sickness and disease.  I have heard that God has allowed people to be sick in order to teach them something. 


However, I cannot find in the WORD OF GOD where that Jesus told anyone that their sin had made them sick or that HE wanted them to be sick, so that they could learn something!!!  But still I hear people say things like this!!! 


John 9 (NCV)

¹ As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been born blind.

² His followers asked him, "Teacher, whose sin caused this man to be born blind—his own sin or his parents' sin?"

³ Jesus answered, "It is not this man's sin or his parents' sin that made him blind. This man was born blind so that God's power could be shown in him.

⁴ While it is daytime, we must continue doing the work of the One who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.

⁵ While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

⁶ After Jesus said this, he spit on the ground and made some mud with it and put the mud on the man's eyes.

⁷ Then he told the man, "Go and wash in the Pool of Siloam." (Siloam means Sent.) So the man went, washed, and came back seeing.

⁸ The neighbors and some people who had earlier seen this man begging said, "Isn't this the same man who used to sit and beg?"

⁹ Some said, "He is the one," but others said, "No, he only looks like him."  The man himself said, "I am the man."

¹⁰ They asked, "How did you get your sight?"

¹¹ He answered, "The man named Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. Then he told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see."

When Jesus died on the cross for us, HE died NOT ONLY to save us from our sins, but also from sickness and disease!!! 


1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Isaiah 53:4-5 (AMP)

⁴Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].

⁵But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.

If we took the time TO STUDY, AND WE LOOKED UP the word, “HEALED,” we would find that GOD TELLS US (ALL OVER THE BIBLE) THAT WE ARE HEALED and THAT HE WANTS US TO BE HEALED!!!


The ONLY THING THAT GOD WANTS US TO LEARN FROM SICKNESS or DISEASE IS NOT TO ACCEPT IT!!! 


And GOD WANTS US TO LEARN NOT TO ACCEPT ANY SYMPTOM OF SICKNESS AND DISEASE!!!

I just want to tell you of GOD’S LOVE!!!

All day the song, Show You Love has been playing in my head.  I posted the words with a couple of comments last night.  If I could show you how much God really loves each of us even though we have done wrong I would!!!

What I can do, is tell you that NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, GOD LOVES YOU!!!  There is NOTHING THAT YOU HAVE DONE THAT IS SO BAD THAT GOD DOESN’T LOVE YOU!!!  HE ACCEPTS US JUST AS WE ARE!!! 

HE KNOWS ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE AND HE LOVES YOU ANYWAY!!! HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE AND HE LOVES YOU ANYWAY!!!

 

Jesus told the woman at the well ALL SHE HAD EVER DONE and HE OFFERED HER LIVING WATER (ETERNAL LIFE.) 

John 4:7-15

⁷ A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.”

⁸ For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.

⁹ Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

¹¹ The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?

¹² Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”

¹³ Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,

¹⁴ but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

¹⁵ The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.”

 

(This is just part of the story.  And they say the Bible isn't interesting!!!)

 

God loves us so!!!  He knew who we are and what we would do and still HE SENT HIS SON TO DIE FOR US!!!!  HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON TO DIE ON THE CROSS FOR US!!!



John 3:16 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus came to earth to live so that HE could die for us in order that we might have eternal life.  How much more can a person love you than to die for you??  What more could they do to show you how much they loved you???

John 10:15 (NKJV) As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

Let’s be real!!!   How many people do you know who would die; completely give up their life for you???

There are very few of those out there!!!  And yet that is exactly what Jesus did for us!!!  He died so that we might live!!!  Not ONLY that, but HE died that we could live an abundantly blessed life!!!



John 10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jesus wants us to live a full, blessed life, free from sin, sorrow, sickness, disease and yes, from pain, too!!!

I read this scripture on Facebook!!!  A dear friend of mine had posted it!!!  It blessed me and I wanted to share it with you!!!

Psalm 31:19 (NKJV) Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You

As I decided to post this as a PRAISE TO THE LORD, I was overwhelmed with HIS GOODNESS!!! 

 

 

Psalm 34 (KJV)

Honor your mother and father.

When I asked the Lord what I was supposed to write about tonight, I heard these words.   “Honor your mother and father.”

Exodus 20:12 (KJV) Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

 

When I read the commandment above I immediately thought, “What does honor mean?”  I know that I am supposed to respect my parents, and treat them right, but is that it?  And I wondered if I was missing something!!!   

So, I typed in the words, “honor your mother and father,” and hit enter. 

One of the things that I found in my search was a very good article on this same subject by Ann, a lady who was at one time a Sunday School Teacher.  




And to be truthful, I don’t think that I have ever heard this commandment explained in a better way.   I must admit, I would NOT have known what to say, if I had been in this situation!!!  And I know that God must have given this lady these words!!!  I am NOT going to share the whole article with you although I am going to share one thought.  To read Ann’s article, just click on this link.  http://ladyannoftexas.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Honor-Your-Mother-and-father 

I would NOT have thought to share this thought with you.  I would NOT have thought to tell you that I know that at times it is hard to honor a parent who has not acted like a parent to you!!!  I would NOT have even thought to say that some folks did NOT have good parents who took care of them and loved them and treated them right!!!





But God knew!!!  He knew that some folks would NOT be good parents, so HE put this verse in the Bible.  He wrote this verse so that people would know how to they were supposed to raise their kids!!! 




Ephesians 6:4 (NKJV) And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.



After reading Ann’s article, it seems so very important to tell you that God knew that some parents would NOT act right!!!  And I must tell you that even if your parents weren’t good parents, you have to forgive them!!! You have to forgive them for their sake and for your own sake!!! 

WHAT I WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU, THAT I HAVE GAINED FROM THIS ARTICLE, IS THAT WE HAVE TO FORGIVE OUR PARENTS FOR NOT BEING THE KIND OF PARENTS THAT WE THINK AND KNOW THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!!  WE HAVE TO FORGIVE THEM FOR NOT LOVING US THE WAY THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE LOVED US!!!   AND WE MUST REMEMBER THAT EVEN PARENTS AREN’T PERFECT AND THAT THEY MAKE MISTAKES!!!  SO, WE HAVE TO FORGIVE THEM!!!

We have to love them as God does!!!   We have to treat them with respect and be nice to them.  And no, when we are grown, that doesn’t mean that we have to do everything that they want us to do!!!  After all, we have to do the things that the Lord tells us to do!!!  Ezekiel 20:19   

You know, earlier today I was bragging on my dad and I was telling how wonderful he is, but you know, before that I was telling about my biological father.  

You see, I am one of those folks who are truly BLESSED to have been adopted!!!  The Lord blessed me with a wonderful set of parents who loved me and took care of me!!!  They watched over me and took care of me and my brother.  We were both adopted as babies, and because of that we had no idea who our birth parents were. 

However, the Lord blessed me to find my birth mother after doing some research and my parents took me to meet her!!!!  It was scary, but awesome at the same time!  I have gone and spent time with her on several occasions, mostly during the summer or on Christmas vacation. 





While I was there at that first meeting, she told me who my birth father was and I arranged to meet him a while later.   After I met him and his wife, I went one summer and stayed with them for about a week.  I got to meet my little brother, Kevin and his son, as well.    

And I used to talk to my birth dad on the phone from time to time.  But because he didn’t raise me, we don’t really have a father-daughter relationship!!!  You see, when I met him, I already had a good daddy, and so that spot was filled!!!  And because we have spent very little time together, we don’t have much of a relationship.

Do I have to be kind, considerate and respectful to him??  Yes, I do!!!  Do I have to love him and do I love him???  Yes, I do!!!  Do I have to forgive him?  Yes, I do!!! 

Why would I need to forgive him, you might ask??? 




I have learned and I now know that when a child is adopted, no matter how much you love them, they also know that someone gave them away or gave them up.   This causes a sense of abandonment and it causes pain and heartache!!!  They oftentimes feel unwanted and this can cause anger and hurt!!!  It is something that ONLY GOD can fix!!!  They have to ask God to help them!!!

This is where having parents who know to pray for you and plead the Blood of Jesus over your mind is such an awesome Blessing!!!   When parents know to plead the blood over that child’s mind, that sense of abandonment cannot take root!!!





So, earlier today, as I spoke about my birth father to someone, I didn’t speak kindly of him!!   You see, I guess that I would really like to have a relationship with him, but I don’t!!  I did try for a while, but it didn’t really work out.  Do I feel to keep trying?  No!!! 

Let me be very plain!!!  Do I care if he has a million dollars???  No, I could care less!!!  Do I care if he leaves me anything in his will?  No!!  I really don’t want or expect anything like that from him.

Do I wish that he would call me on my birthday and say Happy Birthday???  Sure I do!!!  Do I call him on his birthday and wish him a Happy Birthday?  No, I don’t.  Do I mean to disrespect him by NOT calling?   NO!  No, I don’t!!! 

Do I think of my birth father very often?  No, I rarely ever think of him.  So, why did I think of him today?  Someone else wrote about their biological (birth) father in a post and I remembered that I had one, too. 




So, let me ask you a question.   Do you think that since he did NOT raise me and wasn’t really around, that I have the right to disrespect him or blame him for NOT being there for me?  Do I have the right to resent him for not knowing that I existed until I was 32?

NO!!!  I still have to honor him as my father in that I have to be kind, courteous, and respectful to him!!!  That means that even when I talk to others about him, I cannot disrespect him!!!  That means that I cannot say bad things about him!!!




That means that I must forgive him for NOT knowing that I existed for so many years and for NOT being there for me then and now!!!   I must forgive this man that I barely know and rarely think about because it is for my benefit and for his benefit!!! 

And now as I forgive him, I also ask the Lord to take any remnants of hurt, heartache, resentment and pain away!!  In choosing to forgive him, I release both of us!!!   

Colossians 3:12-17 (CEB)

¹² Therefore, as God’s choice, holy and loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.  

¹³ Be tolerant with each other and, if someone has a complaint against anyone, forgive each other. As the Lord forgave you, so also forgive each other.

¹⁴ And over all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

¹⁵ The peace of Christ must control your hearts—a peace into which you were called in one body. And be thankful people.

¹⁶ The word of Christ must live in you richly. Teach and warn each other with all wisdom by singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

¹⁷ Whatever you do, whether in speech or action, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus and give thanks to God the Father through him.

So, today, I say to you, whether your parents treated you right or NOT forgive them and go on with your life!!!   Most everyone has something that they are mad at one of their parents for.  Try to remember that they are people, too!!!  Try to look at them as real people for just a moment and NOT as your parents!!!  Then forgive them for their mistakes!!! 

Exodus 20:12 (AMP) Regard (treat with honor, due obedience, and courtesy) your father and mother, that your days may be long in the land the Lord your God gives you.

And here is the best part!!!  Did you know that God promises us that when we honor our fathers and mothers, we will have long life on this earth???

¹ Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

² “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise:

³ “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

      

LOVE IS NOT JUST A FOUR LETTER WORD!!!

WARNING!!!!  In this post, I get down to the nitty gritty about LOVE AND SEX!!!  I am going to tell it like it is, so if you DO NOT want to hear it, then please DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER!!!

LOVE IS THE MOST ABUSED WORD IN OUR LANGUAGE TODAY!!!! 

GOD NEVER MEANT FOR LOVE TO BE JUST ANOTHER 4 LETTER WORD!!!

LOVE was NEVER supposed to be a word used by a man or a woman to get you into bed, so they could use and abuse you!!!

LOVE IS NOT SEX!!!!  We are NOT supposed to tell folks that if they love us, then they will have sex with us!!!!  When we say this we are liars!!!! 

Ephesians 5:6-11 (CEV)

⁶Don't let anyone trick you with foolish talk. God punishes everyone who disobeys him and says foolish things.

⁷So don't have anything to do with anyone like that.

⁸You used to be like people living in the dark, but now you are people of the light because you belong to the Lord. So act like people of the light

⁹and make your light shine. Be good and honest and truthful,

¹⁰as you try to please the Lord.

¹¹Don't take part in doing those worthless things that are done in the dark. Instead, show how wrong they are.



Ephesians 15-17 (CEV)

¹⁵Act like people with good sense and not like fools.

¹⁶These are evil times, so make every minute count.

¹⁷Don't be stupid. Instead, find out what the Lord wants you to do.

THE TRUTH IS… 

IF WE TRULY LOVED THAT PERSON, WE WOULD BE GLAD TO WAIT FOR THEM!!!  WE WOULD WANT TO MARRY THEM AND CHERISH THEM AND LOVE THEM FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES!!!!

THAT is what God intended!!!!

SEX IS NOT LOVE!!!  SEX is what animals do to reproduce!!!

The devil created the term “having sex” and he created prostitution to pervert MAKING LOVE!!!!

The devil always does ALL he can to pervert the good things of GOD!!!

GOD LOVES US and HE VALUES US SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT!!!! 




We shouldn’t allow ourselves to be used or abused!!!  NOT FOR SEX OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON!!!!

LADIES!!!!  IF A MAN HITS YOU OR BEATS YOU OR VERBALLY ABUSES YOU, THEN HE DOESN’T LOVE YOU!!!!  IT IS TIME TO GET OUT!!!!  (This also goes for you men, too!!!  If your lady does any of these things, then listen up!!!)

THAT IS NOT LOVE!!!!

THAT IS NOT LOVE!!!!  LOVE DOESN’T HURT YOU!!!  LOVE DOESN’T TRY TO KILL YOU!!!  OR GET MAD AT YOU WHEN YOU ARE NICE TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! 

SOMEONE WHO LOVES YOU DOESN’T SCREAM AT YOU OR THROW TEMPER TANTRUMS!!! 





A MAN THAT LOVES YOU WILL CHERISH YOU AND TREAT YOU GOOD!!!  (And vice versa!!!!)

He will NOT give you black eyes or bruises or break your bones or bloody your nose!!!!

IF YOU ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH A PERSON WHO ACTS LIKE THIS, GET OUT!!!!  RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN in the opposite direction!!!  GO TO THE POLICE IF YOU HAVE TO!!!!

IF A PERSON IS PLEASED TO DWELL WITH YOU, THEN THEY WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT!!!!!!  In that case you are to stay with that person!!!!  God tells us this in HIS WORD!!!

1 Corinthians 7:12-13 (KJV)

¹²But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

¹³And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

MAKING LOVE WAS CREATED BY GOD!!!!  IT IS GIVING YOURSELF TO THE ONE YOU LOVE AND THEM GIVING THEMSELVES TO YOU!!!!  IT IS A SELFLESS ACT OF LOVE!!!

MAKING LOVE IS AN ACT OF LOVE AND WORSHIP BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN WHO ARE MARRIED TO EACH OTHER!!! 




Married folks-a man married to a woman-MAKE LOVE to be intimate and close to each other, to enjoy each other and yes, also to have children!!!!

God wants us to love each other with the love of CHRIST!!!!  We are supposed to love everyone with that same love, even our spouses!!!

 ²And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

GOD’S TELLS A MAN HOW TO LOVE AND TREAT HIS WIFE!!!


Ephesians 5:25-29 (NKJV)

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

²⁶ that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

²⁷ that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

²⁸ So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.

²⁹ For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.






GOD’S TELLS A WOMAN HOW TO LOVE AND TREAT HER HUSBAND!!!


Ephesians 5:22-24 (NKJV)

²² Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

²³ For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.

²⁴ Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

GOD’S TELLS US HOW WE ARE SUPPOSED TO TREAT OUR SPOUSES!!! 


Ephesians 5:30-33 (NKJV)

³⁰ For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.

³¹ “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

³² This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

³³ Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

In The Volume Of The Book It Is Written Of Me…

Yesterday, God gave me a phrase to look up and so I did.  That phrase was “In the Volume of the Book…”




Truthfully, I had no idea what this phrase meant, but I soon found out that it referred to Jesus and HIS DECISION to come to earth and die for us. 



Hebrews 10:5-17 (NKJV)

⁵ Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:  “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.

⁶ In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure.

⁷ Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—In the volume of the book it is written of Me—To do Your will, O God.’”

⁸ Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law),

⁹ then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.

¹⁰ By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹¹ And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

¹² But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,

¹³ from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.

¹⁴ For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

¹⁵ But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,

¹⁶ “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,”

¹⁷ then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”




The Psalmist, David; King of Israel, writes these same words.


Ps. 40:6-8 (KJV)

⁶ Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

⁷Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

⁸I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.




Do you see what I see??? Jesus says that He delights to do God’s Will!!!

And yet still, I did NOT understand!!!

I did NOT understand that JESUS my Lord and Savior was saying to me, "I wanted to come down and give My Life!!!  I wanted to SHED MY BLOOD ON THE CROSS to save you, my child!!!  To save you!!!" 



“I came down and I shed My Blood on the cross because I wanted to make a way for ALL those who would to come to my Father, so that they ALL could be saved.”  “For whosoever will.” 



“I chose to die on the cross!!!  I chose to give My Life, so that you could live!!!”  “So, that you could live eternally.”  





We sing this song, Because He Lives (by The Gaithers).


God sent His son, They called Him Jesus.
He came to love, heal and forgive.
He lived and died, to buy my pardon.
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, all fear is gone.
Because I know, I know, I know He holds the future.
And life is worth the living just because He lives.

 

John 3:16-17 (NKJV)

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

 

¹⁷ For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

 

And God did send HIS SON!!! 

 

But, do we understand that JESUS was there and HE was in total agreement with The Father, and with The Spirit and that ALL THREE OF THEM decided that the blood of bulls and goats was not enough to cover the sins of the world? 

 

 

Jesus was ONE OF THE ONES making that decision!!!  HE took part in the decision making process!!!  He helped decide that another much better sacrifice had to be made once and for ALL!!!  AND HE CHOSE TO BE THAT PERFECT SACRIFICE!!!

 

John 1:1-3 (NKJV)

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

² He was in the beginning with God.

³ All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

The disciples were sad that Jesus has died and wondered if HE was truly who HE said HE was.  As HE walked with them on the road to Emmaus, this is what HE told 2 of them.



Luke 24:25-27 (NKJV)

²⁵ Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

²⁶ Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?”

²⁷ And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

The Messiah's Decision is still good today!!!  CHRIST, OUR SAVIOR MADE AN ETERNAL DECISION THAT ENTITLES US (WHOSOEVER WILL) TO ETERNAL LIFE!!!



Hebrews 10:12-14 (CEV)

¹²But Christ offered himself as a sacrifice that is good forever. Now he is sitting at God's right side,

¹³and he will stay there until his enemies are put under his power.

¹⁴By his one sacrifice he has forever set free from sin the people he brings to God.

NOW THAT’S LOVE!!!!  TRUE LOVE!!!
