The WORD of GOD is the seed…

                                                                   that God plants in OUR HEARTS!!!

When we read and study our Bibles, THE WORD begins to grow in our hearts!!!  And just as God used the Holy Spirit to plant HIS SEED within Mary’s womb, we too can become pregnant with HIS WORD!!! 

THE SEED of HIS WORD will grow within us and if we allow HIM to, God will use HIS WORD to help us flourish and grow in HIM!!!  And we will produce good fruit!!!

It is like taking a seed out of a package and planting it in good fertile ground.  From that seed grows a tree, and then that tree produces fruit.

Think about it!!!  From one little seed comes a little plant that grows into a big tall tree, and when that tree has grown and developed, it produces fruit!!! The tree and the fruit that the tree produces, ALL came from that one little seed!!!

It is the same with THE WORD of GOD!!   That is why Jesus is referred to as THE WORD!!! 

Matthew 13:23 (CEV) The seeds that fell on good ground are the people who hear and understand the message. They produce as much as a hundred or sixty or thirty times what was planted.

 

Matthew 13:23 (KJV) But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
