Mary’s Boy Child -- Oh, My Lord

When I was hunting down the words to Mary’s Boy Child, I came across 2 very impressive videos.  One was of a full choir and the other was a beautiful group of 4 singers called Boney M. 

I just really love this song, even though as you can tell by the 2 videos, everyone sings this song in a different way.  The music is so upbeat, but is still very beautiful and it does NOT take away from the words!!! 

As you can tell, I was very impressed by this song and both groups and their  performances!!!!   

This song is a bit different from the previous version that I posted, as can easily hear.  But I truly thought that it was very beautiful!!!  I only hope that you enjoy listening to this song as I have enjoyed discovering it!!!

I am sure that these songs are NOT new to many of you, but they are definitely new to me!!! 

I must tell you however, that being new to this song, I struggled to find the correct words to it, especially since each group performed it differently!!! 

To me, Boney M’s version simply made more sense.  While I am certainly NOT a music critic or expert, it seemed that the other folks left out a verse although their arrangement was very beautiful.
