That stuff might work for you, but it won’t work for me!!!

Please tell me why THE WORD of GOD won’t work for you???  I really want to know. 

WHAT MAKES YOU SO SPECIAL THAT EVEN THOUGH GOD’S WORD WORKS FOR EVERYONE ELSE, IT WON’T WORK FOR YOU!!!

HONEY, YOU JUST AIN’T THAT SPECIAL!!! 

Or maybe…  You just don’t think you are good enough for GOD’s WORD to work for you, so you haven’t even tried to get it to work for you!!! 



LET ME TELL YOU A THING OR TWO!!!  FIRST OF ALL, GOD DOESN’T MAKE TRASH!!!  

SO, YOU NEED TO TELL THE DEVIL WHERE HE CAN GET OFF!!! 



You know, we will allow the devil to call us trash, when we won’t allow our own mommas to talk to us like that!!!   We will sit and listen to that ole’ dirty dog tell us how worthless we are and how GOD doesn’t love us, but those are ALL LIES FROM THE PITS OF HELL!!!

Here is what God says about the devil.  John 8:44 (CEB) He was a murderer from the beginning. He has never stood for the truth, because there’s no truth in him. Whenever that liar speaks, he speaks according to his own nature, because he’s a liar and the father of liars.

So, now that you know that every thing the devil has been telling you is a bunch of lies, I am going to tell you the truth!!!



When you got saved, Jesus washed you in HIS BLOOD!!  That makes you clean.  That makes you a new creature in Christ Jesus!!!

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

 

2 Corinthians 5:17 (CEV) Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new.

WHEN YOU GOT SAVED, YOU BECAME GOD’S CHILD!!!  AND AS HIS CHILD, YOU ARE ENTITLED TO EVERY ONE OF HIS PROMISES.

To learn HIS PROMISES, you have to read and study HIS WORD!  There are so many things that HE wants to do for us and so many things that HE wants to give us!!!  And HE tells us about ALL of them in HIS WORD!!!

Just remember this one thing!!!  God is no respecter of persons.  If GOD did it for David, or Esther, Ruth or Paul, Elijah, or Hannah, or any of the other folks in HIS WORD; He’ll do it for you!!! 

Genesis 18:14 (NKJV) Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”  God even gave Abraham and Sarah a child when she was supposed to be too old to even get pregnant. 

If you work THE WORD, it will work for you!!!  It is a tool!!!   

Did you know that THE WORD will even work for sinners???  For instance, did you know that a sinner can pay his tithes and give his offerings and he will be blessed!!! 

Did you know that in THE WORD it says that you will reap what you sow???  Well, maybe you have heard it this way!  What goes around, comes around!  OR  That’ll come back to bite you!!!  

Don’t you see this working everyday, whether a person is saved or NOT??  I see it ALL the time!!!  In ALL kinds of peoples’ lives!!!

This is what God tells us about HIS WORD!!!

Proverbs 30:5 (CEB) All God’s words are tried and true; a shield for those who take refuge in him.

Proverbs 30:5 (CEV) Everything God says is true--and it's a shield for all who come to him for safety.



Romans 3:3-4 (CEV) ³It is true that some of them did not believe the message. But does this mean that God cannot be trusted, just because they did not have faith? ⁴No, indeed! God tells the truth, even if everyone else is a liar. The Scriptures say about God, "Your words will be proven true, and in court you will win your case."

So, I challenge you today to read HIS WORD and find out what God has for you!!!

YOU CAN READ HIS WORD AND SAY, THAT PROMISE IS FOR ME, AND THAT PROMISE IS FOR ME.  AND OH, YEAH!!! THERE IS ANOTHER PROMISE THAT IS FOR ME!!!
