How do we gird OUR LOINS WITH TRUTH???

We have already talked about BEING ARMED WITH THE WORD of GOD!!!




And that is exactly how we fight the devil!!!  We fight him with THE WORD OF GOD!!!  We fight him with THE TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD!!! 




We have to know THE TRUTH!!!  JESUS IS THE TRUTH!!! 




John 14:6 (CEV) “I am the way, the truth, and the life!” Jesus answered. “Without me, no one can go to the Father.





And everything that GOD TELLS US IN HIS WORD IS THE TRUTH!!! 



John 8:31-32, 36 (NKJV)

³¹ Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

³² And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”


³⁶ Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.





We have to know THE WORD OF GOD because if we don’t know what THE WORD says, then we do NOT know THE TRUTH from a lie!!! 




The devil comes to lie to us!!!  He comes to fool and deceive us!!!  He comes to steal, kill and destroy!!!




John 10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Do you know that the devil likes to pretend that he is GOD???  He likes to make us think that he is GOD, so that we will believe what he tells us!!!





To fight the lies of the enemy, we must first know that they are lies!!!  And we judge what we are told by THE WORD OF GOD!!!  If something doesn’t LINE UP WITH THE WORD, then it isn’t true!!!  It is a lie!!!





That is why we have to know THE WORD FOR OURSELVES!!!!!





So, that we can girt up our loins with THE TRUTH of GOD’S WORD!!!





We must prepare ourselves for battle and stand ready to fight the enemy “HAVING OUR LOINS GIRT ABOUT WITH TRUTH!!!!”
