Standing in FAITH!!!

WE HAVE TO STAND IN FAITH ON THE WORD OF GOD!!!




We do NOT stand on what we see or what things seem to be!!!  We don’t pay attention to what things look like or feel like!!! 




THE WORD says, When we have done ALL to stand; WE STAND THEREFORE!!!



Ephesians 6:13-14 (NKJV)

¹³ Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand.

¹⁴ Stand therefore…




We have to know what THE WORD says, in order to be able to use it as a shield!!!  And we have to believe that THE WORD OF GOD IS THE TRUTH!!!





When fear and doubt try to come to us, we don’t just say, NO!!!!  NO, devil!!!  I believe what THE WORD OF GOD says!!! 




But instead we say, God has NOT given us a spirit of fear!!!  He has given us power, love and a sound mind!!!  I DON’T HAVE TO BE SCARED, DEVIL!!!  I HAVE PEACE!!!

2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Philippians 4:7 (KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I have PEACE because Jesus left me HIS PEACE!!!  I refuse to be upset or afraid!!! 




John 14: 27 (NKJV) Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

We have to know that no matter what comes our way, WE CAN STAND IN FAITH, because God is our source and Christ is our strength!!!  




Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.





We must know that when we have done all to stand, WE CAN STAND THEREFORE IN THE FAITH THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US!!!

Ephesians 3:16-17 (AMP)

¹⁶ May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].

¹⁷ May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love

And because we know that we are rooted and grounded in HIM through our FAITH, we can do those things that HE has called us to do!!! 




Hebrews 12:1-2 (KJV)

12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

² Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

In FAITH, we can call those things that be NOT as though they were!!!

Romans 4:16-22 (NKJV)

¹⁶ Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

¹⁷ (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

¹⁸ who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”

¹⁹ And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

²⁰ He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

²¹ and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

²² And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

For we know, that FAITH is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things NOT seen!!!




Hebrews 11:1-3 (AMP)

11 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

² For by [faith—trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.

³ By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

And with FAITH in our GOD, WE CAN TAKE UP THE SHIELD OF FAITH and stand firm in our FAITH on THE WORD OF GOD, refusing to give way to the devil or heed his trickery!!!



Ephesians 6:16 (NKJV) above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

When we stand in Faith, and tell the devil what the WORD of GOD says, and we refuse to listen to his lies or be deceived by his trickery, but instead WE STAND ON GOD’S WORD, we are using our SHIELD OF FAITH AND WE ARE QUENCHING THE FIERY DARTS OF THE DEVIL!!!
