When we believe in Christ Jesus and accept HIM as our Savior, then through FAITH we are saved!!!!
Ephesians 2:8 (AMP) For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;
For GOD in HIS MERCY has forgiven ALL our sins!!!
Micah 7:19 (NCV) You will have mercy on us again; you will conquer our sins. You will throw away all our sins into the deepest part of the sea.
So, now knowing that God has forgiven us, why do we need the HELMET OF SALVATION???
Ephesians 6:17 (NKJV) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
The HELMET OF SALVATION protects our minds!!! If we continually wear OUR HELMET, and use OUR FAITH AS A SHIELD TO PROTECT US, then we will NOT be fooled or deceived by the devil when he attacks!!!
Isaiah 12:2 (NKJV) Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’”
Even though we are saved by grace through FAITH, we must NOT be fooled into thinking that the enemy is going to stop attacking us!!! That is why WE MUST CONTINUE TO STAND IN FAITH ON THE WORD OF GOD!!!
Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV) You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
WE STAND ON THE WORD OF GOD USING IT AS OUR SHIELD OF FAITH and AS OUR HELMET OF SALVATION to protect our minds and our hearts!!!
Philippians 4:7 (KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Do you know that the devil will try to convince us that we are NOT saved? The devil will try to make us think that we couldn’t possibly be saved because we are NOT perfect, and because we still have problems!!!
Romans 8:1 (NKJV) There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Many times our enemy the devil will bring condemnation to us!!! He wants us to feel guilty about the things that we do (or don’t do!!!) His goal is to make sure that we don’t enjoy being saved!!! But GOD’S WORD says that WE ARE MADE NEW IN CHRIST and that old things are passed away!!!
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
We must remember that no matter what lie the devil tells us, WE ARE SAVED!!! Being saved is a process!!! And we get better at it every day, if we continue to follow Jesus!!!!
Colossians 2:6-8 (CEV) You have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord. Now keep on following him.
Colossians 2:7 (AMP) Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:6-8 (NKJV) Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
When we made the decision to accept Jesus as OUR LORD and Savior, OUR FATHER FORGAVE US of ALL of our sins and HE healed us!!! He has given us many promises!!! And they are ALL ours!!!!

8 Since we belong to the day, let’s stay sober, wearing faithfulness and love as a piece of armor that protects our body and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
9 God didn’t intend for us to suffer his wrath but rather to possess salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
10 Jesus died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with him.
