WHY ARE THERE FOLKS WHO DO NOT GET HEALED???

A lot of folks walk around sick because they do NOT understand that IT IS GOD’S WILL FOR THEM TO BE HEALED, TODAY!!!

Then there are those folks who believe that GOD CAN AND WILL HEAL PEOPLE, just NOT THEM!!!  They aren’t good enough to be healed by GOD!!!  They aren’t WORTHY OF GOD, or so they think!!!  And along with these folks you get the ones who think that God is trying to teach them something by making them sick!!!

And then there are people who would like to be healed, but THEY REFUSE TO DO THINGS GOD’S WAY!!!    

Let’s talk about each of these!!!

There are people who do NOT read or study THE WORD OF GOD!!!  They never pick it up and it just sits there collecting dust!!!  They may dust it off sometimes, but they never read or study it!!!  And some of these folks go to church and say that they are God’s People!!!

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Because these folks rarely ever pick up The WORD of God, their knowledge of the Bible is little or none!!!  They do NOT know what the Bible says about HEALING!!!  And they have no idea that God loves them so much that HE SENT HIS SON, JESUS, TO SAVE THEM FROM SICKNESS AND DISEASE!!!  They have no idea that THE WORD says, “BY HIS STRIPES, WE ARE HEALED!!!”  Is. 53:5  




Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Folks that think they are NOT worthy of God or that God is trying to teach them something, don’t have a true understanding of who they are in GOD and what that means!!!  If they really knew God intimately and really knew HIS WORD, then they would understand that HEALING IS FOR THEM!!!  




I would NOT dare say that they are NOT saved, but I would say that they are deceived!!!  You see, the devil will keep telling you how unworthy you are, until you realize that HE IS A LIAR and you tell him to SHUT UP!!! 




The fact is that Jesus died so that WE COULD ALL BE HEALED AND DELIVERED FROM ALL SICKNESS AND DISEASE!!! 



Matt. 8:16-17 (NCV)


¹⁶ That evening people brought to Jesus many who had demons. Jesus spoke and the demons left them, and he healed all the sick.

¹⁷ He did these things to bring about what Isaiah the prophet had said:
    "He took our suffering on him
       and carried our diseases." — Isaiah 53:4

Paul tells us over and over again that God is no respecter of persons!!!  (Rom. 2:11)  That means that GOD treats one person the same as another!!!  That means that if GOD WILL HEAL ME, THEN HE WILL HEAL YOU!!! 

Acts 10:34-35 (NKJV)

³⁴ Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.

³⁵ But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

JESUS, HIMSELF, PROVED THAT GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS BY HEALING ALL THAT CAME TO HIM!!!  HE TURNED NO ONE AWAY!!!  ALL you had to do was believe!!!  If you believed that HE COULD HEAL YOU, HE WOULD!!!!

Matthew 8:2-3 (TNIV)

² A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

 ³ Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.




Matthew 8:5-10, 13 (NCV)

⁵ When Jesus entered the city of Capernaum, an army officer came to him, begging for help.

⁶ The officer said, "Lord, my servant is at home in bed. He can't move his body and is in much pain."

⁷ Jesus said to the officer, "I will go and heal him."

⁸ The officer answered, "Lord, I am not worthy for you to come into my house. You only need to command it, and my servant will be healed.

⁹ I, too, am a man under the authority of others, and I have soldiers under my command. I tell one soldier, 'Go,' and he goes. I tell another soldier, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and my servant does it.

¹⁰ When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. He said to those who were following him, "I tell you the truth, this is the greatest faith I have found, even in Israel.


¹³ Then Jesus said to the officer, "Go home. Your servant will be healed just as you believed he would." And his servant was healed that same hour.

Isaiah 53:4 (AMP) Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].

THERE IS NO VERSE IN THE WORD OF GOD THAT SAYS THAT GOD MADE FOLKS SICK!!!  As a matter of fact, Jesus says that GOD can’t make people sick!!!  If God made people sick, then JESUS COULD NOT HEAL THEM!!!



Matthew 12:22-28 (KJV)

 ²²Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

 ²³And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

 ²⁴But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

 ²⁵And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

 ²⁶And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

 ²⁷And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

 ²⁸But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

And lastly, there are those people who seem to know what THE WORD OF GOD says, but who (for lack of a better word) refuse to do GOD’S WILL!!!  I have actually heard some of these same folks say, IT (meaning GOD’S WORD) JUST DOESN’T WORK FOR ME!!!

These are the folks that make me want to scream, “BALDERDASH!!!” or “HORSEFEATHERS!!!!”  I could truthfully say to these folks, “WHAT UTTER NONSENSE!!!”

And if you are one of these people, I say to you, QUIT MAKING EXCUSES AND JUST STAND ON HIS WORD!!!  SPEAK THE WORD AND WATCH IT WORK!!!



Matthew 12:37 (NKJV) For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

THE WORD OF GOD IS A TOOL!!!  YOU HAVE TO USE A TOOL FOR IT TO WORK!!!! 

I can take a chainsaw up to a tree limb and if I never start that chainsaw, then I could say, “It won’t cut the tree limb!!!”  And any fool would look at me like I was crazy and say, “IF YOU WOULD START IT, IT WOULD CUT THAT LIMB!!!”

THE WORD OF GOD IS JUST LIKE THAT CHAINSAW OR ANY OTHER TOOL!!!!  IT HAS TO BE USED FOR IT TO WORK!!! 

You can take a shovel out to dig a hole, but if you never put it in the ground and use it, then there will never be a hole!!!

AS LONG AS YOUR BIBLE SITS ON YOUR COFFEE TABLE AND GATHERS DUST, IT WILL DO YOU NO GOOD!!!

But if you start reading GOD’S WORD and applying it to your life, IT will work!!! 

Hebrews 4:12 (NCV) God's word is alive and working and is sharper than a double-edged sword. It cuts all the way into us, where the soul and the spirit are joined, to the center of our joints and bones. And it judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts.

You can start applying GOD’S WORD ON HEALING to your life by telling yourself that GOD WANTS YOU TO BE WELL!!!  Keep telling yourself that UNTIL YOU KNOW IT IS TRUE!!! 

And while you are telling yourself that, find out what GOD’S WORD SAYS ABOUT HEALING!!!!  Find THE HEALING SCRIPTURES!!! 

I am going to tell you the easy way to find them.  Go to the internet and type in “HEALING SCRIPTURES”.  Print off or make yourself a list of these scriptures!!!  Then look them up one by one!!! 
To help you remember these scriptures, write them down or type them up!!!  There are several sites that offer THE BIBLE.  I use Bible Gateway @ http://www.biblegateway.com/ and the Online Parallel Bible @ http://bible.cc/ .



Now, here is the MOST IMPORTANT PART!!!   START SPEAKING THESE SCRIPTURES OUT LOUD OVER YOURSELF AND WATCH THEM WORK!!!!

²³ “Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and do not doubt in your heart but believe that what you say will happen, it will be done for you.
