Psalm 138:8 (NKJV)
8 The Lord will perfect that
which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
The LORD recently showed me that this scripture has a two fold meaning. Usually, two fold means that when you open it up, it has 2 different sides or 2 different parts.
In this case, 2 fold means having 2 similar, but different meanings. Some folks would say, you can interpret this scripture 2 different ways.
On Thursday, I talked about this scripture in the way that you hear most folks use it.
Today, I am going to talk about what GOD showed me recently!!!

for me;Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands.
I was so amazed to realize that this scripture was NOT ONLY saying that GOD would perfect the situations and circumstances around me, but that GOD would perfect me!!!
HE will mold and make me. GOD will lead and guide me in everything that HE wants me to do!!!
Isaiah 64:8 (KJV) But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
GOD will work through me to make something wonderful out of my life!!! And HE’ll do the same for you, too!!!
So, when this scripture says, The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; it means that HE is going to PERFECT me!!! HE is going to make me perfect in HIS EYES!!! HE IS GOING TO MAKE EVERYTHING ABOUT ME PERFECT!!!
Where it says, “Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;” GOD is reminding us that HE IS MERCIFUL and HE knows that we aren’t perfect, but HE LOVES US ANYWAY!!! HIS MERCY ENDURES FOR EVER!!! HIS MERCY IS EVERLASTING!!! HIS MERCY NEVER ENDS!!!

And finally, when this verse says, “Do not forsake the works of Your hands,” it means LORD in your mercy, don’t ever leave me!!! PLEASE LORD, don’t ever forget me!!! And PLEASE LORD, YOU ARE SO MERCIFUL, don’t EVER, EVER GIVE UP ON ME!!! PLEASE LORD, DON’T EVER STOP WORKING ON ME!!!
