God’s Promises are Yes and Amen!!!!

Everything that God promised Abraham came to pass.  God stood by HIS WORD to Abraham, even after Sarah intervened.  God brought HIS PROMISE to pass even though both Abraham and Sarah laughed!!!

And God will do the same for you and me!!!!  GOD does NOT play favorites!!!  Rom. 2:11 (CEB)  He blesses those that love HIM!!!!

Romans 2:11 (AMP)  For God shows no partiality [undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another].

WHATEVER GOD HAS PROMISED YOU WILL COME TO PASS!!!
  

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV) For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

I looked up the word, AMEN in Wikipedia and this is what it said.  Amen, meaning "so be it", is of Hebrew origin. 

Here’s what the Amplified says, 2 Corinthians 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God.

 

So, let’s break this down!!!  For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen (So be it!), to the glory of God through us.

We could actually say, ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD IN CHRIST ARE YES AND IN CHRIST SO BE IT, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THROUGH US!!!!!

WOW!!!!  So, when God brings those things that HE has promised me and you to pass, it is to HIS GLORY!!!!  He gets the HONOR and the GLORY through us!!! 

I wonder if we can even imagine or know how cool that is.  I have never heard this before. 

THIS IS SO AMAZING!!!  SO VERY AMAZING TO ME!!!  So, in BLESSING US, GOD OBTAINS (OR GETS) GLORY!!! 

All I have ever heard, is that God gets glory from our sufferings, if we suffer because of or for HIM!!!  But it makes sense, doesn’t it???  If HE gets glory when we suffer, then, of course, HE GETS GLORY WHEN WE ARE BLESSED!!! 

Wow!  How tremendous is that!!!  And it ALL makes sense!!!  ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD, whether through our sufferings or through our blessings.  GOD GETS ALL THE GLORY, WHETHER THROUGH OUR SUFFERING OR THROUGH OUR BLESSINGS!!!

When we serve Him, IT IS TO HIS GLORY THROUGH US!!! 

That is why HIS WORD says, Serve Him with GLADNESS!!!!  Ps. 100:2 

AND WE CAN SERVE HIM WITH GLADNESS, KNOWING THAT AS SERVANTS OF THE MOST HIGH, WE ARE THE BLESSED OF GOD!!!
