Most, if NOT ALL, of GOD’s children know that they are supposed to be
faithfully bringing their tithes and offerings to the house of GOD!!! But do you know that GOD has us do this, so
that HE can bless us?
This should be being taught in every church all over the world, because it is
NOT ONLY pleasing to GOD, but because GIVING breaks the curse that the enemy
has tried to place over our finances!!!
You know, when we pay our tithes and give our offerings, GOD promises to rebuke
the devourer, the destroyer that would come against us!!! HE also commands a blessing to come upon
us!!!
Malachi 3:10-12 (NKJV)
10 Bring all the tithes into the
storehouse,
That
there may be food in My house,
And
try Me now in this,”
Says
the Lord of hosts,
“If
I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And
pour out for you such blessing
That
there will not be room enough to receive it.
11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for
your sakes,
So
that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor
shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
Says
the Lord of hosts;
12 “And all nations will call you
blessed,
For
you will be a delightful land,”
Says
the Lord of hosts.
Do you know
that in THE WORD, GOD even promises to give us a seed to sow to help us get out
of debt? IT’S TRUE!!!
The enemy of
our soul doesn’t want us to give our way out of debt!!! And he certainly doesn’t want us to give to
the work of GOD!!! He doesn’t want us
sowing seeds into the ministry because he knows that GOD will bless us every
time we sow in FAITH and in obedience to HIM!!!
2 Corinthians 9:8-10 (NKJV)
8 And God is able to
make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in
all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
9 As it is written:
“He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever.”
10 Now may He who supplies
seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown
and increase the fruits of your righteousness
THE WORD of GOD tells us that when we give to others to help them do GOD’s
work, ALL our needs will be met!!!
Philippians 4:15-19 (KJV)
15 Now ye Philippians know
also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no
church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye
sent once and again unto my necessity.
17 Not because I desire a
gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
18 But I have all, and abound:
I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you,
an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19 But my God shall supply all
your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
The enemy doesn’t want us
to give to anyone else, especially NOT our brothers and sisters in
Christ!!! He doesn’t want us to give to others
and help them out because he knows that whatever we give as unto THE LORD (with
a willing and cheerful heart) will be blessed back to us!!!
Luke 6:38 (KJV) Give, and
it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together,
and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure
that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:38 (NCV) Give, and you will
receive. You will be given much. Pressed down, shaken together, and running
over, it will spill into your lap. The way you give to others is the way God
will give to you.”
THE LORD loves those who give willingly and with a cheerful heart!!! GOD tells us again that if we give little, we
will receive little, but if we give abundantly, we will be blessed
abundantly!!! HE makes it plain that we
can choose how much we want to be blessed by choosing how much we give!!!
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (WEB)
6 Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap
sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 Let each man give according as he has determined in his
heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.
GOD wants us to trust in HIM for our
provision!!! HE doesn’t just want to
meet our needs; HE wants us to be abundantly blessed!!! HE wants us to dream big and live life to the
fullest!!! HE wants to bless us in ways
that we never even thought of and in ways that we could never have dreamed were
possible!!!
Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above
all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us
GOD wants to
give us the very desires of our hearts!!!
GOD likes to give us the things that we want. It pleases HIM to see us smile and to know
that we are happy!!!
Psalm 37:4 (AMP) Delight
yourself in the Lord,
And He will give you the desires and petitions
of your heart.
GOD wants to bless us and HE wants us to live a blessed life!!! GOD wants us to have good things!!!
HE wants us to be able to pay our bills and HE wants us to be able to
help others out!!! HE wants us to be
able to BLESS folks when they need a blessing!!! HE wants us to be so blessed that our
blessings run over and spill onto others!!!
Psalm 23:5 (NKJV) ...My cup
runs over.
GOD wanted to bless the children of Israel for their obedience, and HE
WANTS TO BLESS US, HIS CHILDREN, for our obedience!!! THE LORD wants us to be so blessed that our
blessings chase us down and overtake us!!!
HE wants us to be blessed in every area of our lives!!!
Deuteronomy 28:1-13 (NKJV)
28 “Now it
shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I
command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high
above all nations of the earth.
2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake
you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed
shall you be in the country.
4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce
of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and
the offspring of your flocks.
5 “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and
blessed shall you be when you go out.
7 “The Lord will cause your enemies
who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out

bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.

grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your
livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.
12 The Lord will open
to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its
season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations,
but you shall not borrow.
13 And the Lord will make
you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if
you heed the commandments of the Lord your God,
which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
