Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord.

Let us rejoice at the foot of the cross,
We can be free, glory to God.

Let us rejoice at the foot of the cross,
We can be free, glory to God.

Let us rejoice at the foot of the cross,
We can be free, glory to God.

Let us rejoice at the foot of the cross,
We can be free, glory to God.

Thank you Lord, thank you Lord,
You've set us free, glory to God.

Thank you Lord, thank you Lord,
You've set us free, glory to God.

Thank you Lord, thank you Lord,
You've set us free, glory to God.

Thank you Lord, thank you Lord,
You've set us free, glory to God.

This chorus is part of a song that Delirious sings called, This Is The Message of The Cross.

This song is one of the most beautiful songs that I have ever heard or read.  It touches my heart every time I hear it.  I am going to post the lyrics to this song under my Pages, but you can also visit the following site which has other songs and lyrics by Delirious:  http://www.delirious.org.uk.

The last part of the chorus is the part I love best.  It is the part that has most especially touched my heart!!!  I keep finding myself singing:
Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord,
Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord.

I know that we say, Thank the Lord for this or Thank the Lord for that.  I hear folks say it all the time, but I wonder how often they actually tell the Lord, “Thank You.”

I used to say, I praise you Lord for doing this for me or for doing that for me.  Then one day The Lord said, “You never say, Thank You.”

So, I say to you today.

Do you ever really just stop and say, “Thank You, Lord.”
