Is Your Heart Stony Ground???

Have you prepared the ground of your heart to receive HIS WORD???  Is your heart fertile ground???  Can The WORD of God take root in your heart and in your mind???

OR IS YOUR HEART STONY GROUND???

Matthew 13 (NKJV)  The Parable of the Sower

1 On the same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea.

And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow.

And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them.

Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth.

But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.

And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.

But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

And here is how Jesus explained The Parable of the Sower!!!

18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower:

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;

21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

WE have to be rooted and grounded in God’s Word!!!

When we stand on HIS WORD, it is because we trust and believe in HIM!!!  We believe that WHAT HIS WORD SAYS IS TRUE, EVERY TIME!!!  In every situation and in every circumstance!!!

We cannot let the winds of doctrine blow away our FAITH and OUR TRUST IN GOD!!!

Ephesians 4:14 (CEB) ...we aren’t supposed to be infants any longer who can be tossed and blown around by every wind that comes from teaching with deceitful scheming and the tricks people play to deliberately mislead others.

WE HAVE TO KNOW THAT EVERY WORD OF GOD IS TRUE!!!  WE HAVE TO STAND WITH OUR FEET FIRMLY PLANTED ON THE WORD OF GOD!!!  WE CANNOT BE SHAKEN NOR STIRRED!!!

John 14:1 (NKJV) “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.

John 14:1 (AMP) DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
