On My Knees

This song is so full of God that I can hardly write this without crying!!!  It moves me greatly!!!  For I know that there is indeed power when I am on my knees!!!

On My Knees - Jaci Velasquez

There are days when I feel
The best of me is ready to begin.
Then there are days when I feel
I'm letting go and soaring on the wind.
'Cause I've learned in laughter or in pain
How to survive.

I get on my knees.
I get on my knees.
There I am before The Love that changes me.

See I don't know how, but there's power
When I'm on my knees.

I can be in a crowd
Or by myself, almost anywhere
When I feel there's a need
To talk with God;

He is Emmanuel.
When I close my eyes no darkness there,
There's only light.

I get on my knees.
I get on my knees.
There I am before The Love that changes me.

See I don't know how, but there's power
In the blue skies, in the midnight
When I'm on my knees.

I get on my knees.
I get on my knees.
There I am before The Love that changes me.

See I don't know how, but there's power
When I'm on my…

Oh, when I'm on my…
When I'm on my knees.

This song was written by David Mullen, Nicole Coleman-Mullen, Michael Ochs. Always be sure to give credit where credit is due!!!

Being on my knees before God is an attitude of humbleness!!!  For there are places (at work or driving in the car) that you cannot get on your knees and pray!!!

God reminded me of the little boy that stood when the teacher told him to sit.  The teacher made him sit down time after time!!!  And finally he did sit, but he proclaimed, I am standing on the inside!!!

I say today, to God I bow my knees!!!  To God I bow my head!!!  Even if it is has to be on the inside, I bow to you MY LORD AND SAVIOR!!!

And ONE DAY EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE PROCLAIM THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!!!

HE IS EMMANUEL!!!

Philippians 2:5-11 (KJV)

5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
